Medical Issues/Concerns:  Had one "night fright".

Quirks, Habits, etc..:  Likes to ring his toy "bells" making his sister Tupi go crazy!  Seems to feed off this.  Much head bobbing when approached.  Likes to pounce down on you when adding/changing food dishes.  Makes a "clucking" noise to get your attention.  Loves to be sang to.  Loves interaction/attention with his humans.  Will mimic his flock mates.  Sometime likes to put his food in his water dish.  Had one "night fright".  Tries to "attack" the water bottle while giving him a mist bath.  Makes a call that sounds just like Tarzan.  Sometimes makes a "Kissing" Sound.  Sometimes will try to regurgitate to his mother.  Does a VERY great "Cat Call" whistle.  Will put his hand on his head and scratch when wanting "scritches"!  Will try and ambush you when providing food and water bowls!

Medical Issues/Concerns:  None

Quirks, Habits, etc...:  Goes crazy when brother Kito rings any bells.  Loves to be cuddled and being scritched.  Has a angry/nippy streak at times for no reason.  Plays with a birdy ball and then gets mad at it and throws it around.  Sometimes runs in a "Gerbil Wheel".  Usually gets the whole flock going with her chirping.  Gets VERY jealous when "Daddy" gives the other Parrots attention.  She is always the last one to get up in the A.M.  Likes to preen daddy's finger nails.  Escaped from her cage twice when she found a defect in the bars.  Does somersaults repeatedly on her perch.  Will make a "purring/vibrating cell phone" noise while being scritched.   She is the last one to wake up in the morning.

Quirks, Habits, etc...:  Does a funny dance we call "The Unga Bunga" Dance.  Follows Jane everywhere.  Always goes out of his way to "mouth" feed Jane.  Likes to come close to us when we interact with Miah whose cage is close by.  Likes to Dunk food and toys in his water dish. Loves to preen Jane. Master at untying knots.  Loves to shred paper.  Likes to float pellets in his water dish while eating them.

Medical Issues/Concerns: Masturbating & frequent nesting behaviors. Occasional Feather plucking do to nesting behaviors.  Occasional sores on her elbows when she is nesting.  Frequent egg laying.

Quirks, Habits, etc...:  Starts little cat fights with Tarzan, probably because he never leaves her alone. Likes to "ping" the cage bars like a guitar string. Always trying to pry her cage doors open. Likes to hang out at her water dish. Master at untying knots. Loves to shred paper.  Likes to float pellets in her water dish while eating them.

Medical Issues/Concerns:  Egg laying. She was on hormone therapy.  Was hospitalized because she was egg bound and died during surgery on 2/23/10.  You will always be a part of our flock sweety!   We love you!

Quirks, Habits, etc...:  Whistles her call as soon as you leave the room.  While talking to her she likes to fly into the cage bars in front of your face. Always wants to see you and what you are doing. If you put a water bowl up to her with your hand, she will drink out of it. Loves to stick her head through the top cage bars and chew, sounding like a machine gun. Loves to preen, especially after a mist bath. Likes to chew on Daddy's glasses. Does the "Cat Call" whistle perfect. Sometimes "hisses" when her cage is covered. Had an incident where her cage door was closed on her tail resulting in the loss of 4 tail feathers.

Medical Issues/Concerns:  Slightly misaligned beak.  He gets beak trims every few months.  Occasionally chews tail feathers.  Julio also will nip off Chico's tail feathers on occasion. 

Quirks, Habits, etc...:  Much head bobbing when you give him affection. Makes a clucking noise when greeted. LOVES to snuggle. HATES bed time and will squawk a lot.  Likes to chew on his toes and grab his face with his foot. Makes a sound that sounds like a duck. Just loves to be misted. Loves to dunk his head into his water bowl. Likes to dance with his owners, as he will bob his head to the beat of the song/owners. Will sometimes "mouth" feed Julio. Sometimes will fall asleep hanging on to the side of his cage bars with his beak. Loves to play with and preen his brother Julio! Likes to nip Julio's toes. Likes to throw his birdy ball around.

Quirks, Habits, etc...:  Likes to hang upside-down. Loves to shred paper. Likes to dunk his food into his water bowl. Seems to really be attracted to Anni. When being misted he will roll his body all over the place. Loves to roll in and eat greens. Will sometimes purr and fall asleep in his Momma's hand. Has to wait for his fresh water first thing in the morning.

Medical Issues/Concerns:  Had a real bad "night fright" when the whole flock got spooked resulting in the loss of 7 tail feathers.                                               

Quirks, Habits, etc...:  Always tries to see his brother Chico. Loves to run around the bottom of her/his cage. Likes to put food in his water bowl. Loves to be misted. Likes to dance with his owners. Really likes to "mouth" feed Anni the Budgie. He is always the first to get up in the A.M. Sometimes chews on his toes. Loves to roll in and eat greens. Likes dancing with his humans! Is good at untying knots.  Will sometimes dance to the song "Popcorn'!

Medical Issues/Concerns:  Frayed tail feathers due to excessive rough playing.  Has become quite a Biter!  We continue to work at correcting this issue.  Will also pluck out Chico's tail feathers on occasion due to "morning" feeding aggression and has become dominant.

Quirks, Habits, etc...:  Loves to bully his brother Chico, loves to preen Chico, always tries to bite Chico's leg band. Is VERY clean and always bathing/grooming! Is a bit of a thief! Loves his head scritched but not much handling as of yet. Bites his toes and grabs his face with his foot. Is a little on the selfish side. He has to eat his first A.M. pellet over his water dish. He will grab the pellet, jump down to the bottom and run, and hop up to his water dish!  Eats his pellets while they are floating in the water.  Does much "head bobbing".  Is big on "playing"!  Escaped once after unscrewing one of the bolts to the door that is on the roof of his cage!  Likes to throw his birdy ball around. Also likes to dunk his birdy ball into his water dish.

Quirks, Habits, etc...:  Chirps all day! Likes mist baths. Loves to grab and shake her birdy ball and also puts it in her food bowls. Loves to swing! Loves her leather strap toys. Seems to really be in love and attracted to Sydney!  Sydney will feed her by mouth through out the day every day!  Will sometimes bully Aussie away from a toy or food.  Will get mouth fed by Sydney and Aussie occasionally.

Quirks, Habits, Etc...:  Loves to talk! Always tries to feed Taj. Loves to chew wood.  Will always try and show off to Taj. Has to eat his pellets over the water dish, dunking, chewing, drinking and so on. Loves chewing wood toys.  Will do a "happy talk" when he has food or a toy he likes.  Loves "ball" toys.

Quirks, Habits, Etc...:  Is a little skittish and shy. Loves to bathe in her water dish.  She always dunks her food in her water dish. Will sometimes "bully" Mahal out of the food bowls. Is a VERY BIG eater. Loves chewing wood toys.  Will look straight up to the ceiling right after getting up and make sounds like a baby!  Will ring her bell when their evening meal is being prepared!  Loves "ball" toys.

 Quirks, Habits, Etc...: Likes to sit on the bottom and chew alfalfa cubes or play with a birdy ball! Loves to sing! Is an extremely BIG eater.  Loves to Fly!  Will sometimes fall a sleep in the food dish!  He is completely in love with Anni!  He will spend much his day mouth feeding her!
